Sharon Brown, Music Director

Since 1992, Sharon has conducted the Women’s Choir at the Boston Conservatory, and has recently started conducting the Simmons College Chorale in Boston. Sharon has held a faculty position in the Voice Department at the Berklee College of Music since 1986. There she provides technical vocal instruction to all levels of students in a variety of styles. Sharon has also been the Director of Music for the Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church in Natick for more than a decade, and is a member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

Having received both Masters and Bachelors degrees in Vocal Performance from the Boston Conservatory, Sharon has sung with the Boston Academy of Music and the Longwood Opera and is currently a performing member of both the Boston Lyric Opera and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. Sharon is a resident of Framingham.

Jeannette McClellan, Accompanist

Jeannette McClellan has music degrees from Oberlin College (BA in music) and Boston University (MM in piano performance). In addition to teaching piano privately in Denver CO, Newton MA, and Sudbury MA, she worked at John Hancock for 11 years in pension programming and network software. She has done extensive accompanying and chamber music in the Sudbury area, has been involved in the music program at Memorial Congregational Church for 12 years, is a performing member of Concord Music Club, and is now conducting and accompanying choirs at Hudson High School.
