The A Cappella Singers established the Astrid H. Thalheimer Vocal Scholarship to honor the group's founder and former director. The scholarship is awarded to a deserving Metrowest female high school senior who plans to further her education in vocal music. A competition is held in the spring every other year, and the winner performs at the A Cappella Singers' spring concert. 2005 winner
